When it comes to activities and hobbies for children, the sheer number of choices can sometimes feel overwhelming. Many projects, products and groups vie for your child’s attention, and unfortunately many of us know that supporting fleeting hobbies and activities can be expensive and ultimately unrewarding. But what if we told you there is an activity for your child that can be fun, creative, relatively inexpensive, continually fresh and exciting and could even lead to a unique career or lifelong hobby?
For most of human history, beads have been used to create jewelry and adorn clothing and hair. From simple pebbles and blocks of wood to priceless jewels and precious metals, people have made beads of countless shapes, sizes and colors. Like countless others before them, your child will love the endless avenues of creativity available to them with a collection of durable, quality beads. They will love to create jewelry for themselves and adorn their clothes or hair! Better yet, your child will love the sense of empowerment they’ll feel when they create gifts that can be given to family and friends. And if your child decides to turn beads and jewelry making into a serious hobby, you can share in the excitement and fun of shopping for unique beads to add to your collection!
Here at Kazoo Toys, we sell bead kits by Bead Bazaar that include delightful assortments that are sure to keep your child entertained and enthralled for hours!
Kazoo Toys is proud to announce that we’ve moved into our new home in Denver! Now located at 262 Fillmore Street in the historic Cherry Creek North neighborhood, we are proud to carry on our 33-year tradition of providing one of the largest selections of quality games, puzzles, and creative playthings to parents, teachers and kids! Kazoo Toys is committed to making our new home feel like our old home – with some great improvements you are sure to love!
Our new home is located in a Denver neighborhood rich with history. In the late 1800s, Edwin P. Harman and his wife Lou purchased a 320 acre town site and founded the town of Harman. In March of 1894 the town of Harmon was annexed into Denver. In the 119 years since the annexation, the area now known as Cherry Creek North still boasts the old Town Hall at the corner of 4th Avenue and Saint Paul Street and the historic Bromwell Elementary School remains operational today! Kazoo Toys is proud to join the nearly 400 businesses in this mixed-use neighborhood, 73% of which are locally owned and operated – just like us!
