Small Business Saturday

For years many of us have said we want to do more to support our small local businesses. This year with the “Occupy” movement so much at the forefront of our consciousness, Americans are asked once again to support small local business on Small Business Saturday (the day after Black Friday).
Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express to recognize the importance of small business and their vital contributions to the economy, job creation and local communities. It is a make-or-break holiday shopping season for many small businesses – just 31% think their businesses will grow regardless of the economic climate and 69% think we are at risk of a double dip, according to just-released data from American Express – which is why so many are pursuing new customers on social media platforms. In fact, for the first time, half of small businesses use social media to attract new customers.
Kazoo & Company Toys is Colorado’s local small business toy store. We are once again participating in Small Business Saturday and ask that you come visit us and see all the great toys we have for the holiday season this year. In addition, Mike & Jennifer Wuestner of Chimalong XR will be giving a free concert in the store start at 11:30AM. Do right by your local small businesses this Saturday and be sure to stop into Kazoo & Company too.
