Giving Thanks

By Heather Bishara

Thanksgiving is a holiday that seems to get less and less attention these days. With Christmas products appearing on store shelves in early November, one might think that Thanksgiving is just not that important. Not so!!

At our house, Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday. It’s jammed packed with family coming in town, new recipes to try, old recipes to salivate over and just a whole lot a fun in between. And I have to admit that I rather like having one holiday between Halloween and Christmas that gives us a mental break from candy and presents!

Like many families on Thanksgiving, we honor the tradition of telling everyone what we are thankful for before we dive into our turkey dinner. I thought I’d honor that tradition here by telling you why I am thankful for Kazoo Toys.

I am thankful for Kazoo Toys because…

  1. Kazoo Toys sells Pretend Play Food sets by Melissa and Doug. The sets that we own (Pizza Party, Birthday Cake, and Sandwich sets) are going to save me as I begin preparing food for our Thanksgiving dinner. My three year old can “cook” while I do so that I do not have to deal with him clinging to my leg the entire time I try to prepare the turkey!

  1. Kazoo Toys has a huge selection of Gertie Balls! These balls are a favorite in our family and will help the kids pass the time and get their wiggles out before dinner.

  1. We own a few Stomp Rockets, an incredible item sold by Kazoo Toys. These rockets are another winner in our house. The kids absolutely love to stomp on the foot pump, watch the rockets sail through the air, then run like wild to see who will retrieve the rocket first. Even the adults get into this toy, it’s really a lot of fun!

  1. In case of rain, we have plenty of costumes and dress up toys to occupy the kids inside. If you are in need of a few to get you through the day, Kazoo Toys has a great selection. I especially love the pirate, train engineer, and princess costumes, so adorable!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
